Jessica Sloane is one of my dearest friends in Nashville and the pictures that follow are a perfect representation of our time spent together. She is so much fun to be around and we always have a blast together. She is an amazing, dedicated mom, and she plans, designs as well as coordinates some of the most beautiful events ever.
Recently she shared one of her favorite holiday activities with her son Sullivan and now we are sharing it with you!
What do you love about the Holidays?
I love everything about the holidays, but mostly, the spirit of giving, which is an expression of love. I'm a sucker for it. Christmas has always been my favorite time of year.
What is one of your favorite things to do during the holiday season?
Wrapping gifts is my favorite thing to do. I love making each gift special and unique. I tend to pick things that aren't typically Christmas... like kraft, gold or black paper. I love these watercolor tags created in collaboration by Jessie Early and Shelby Hornbuckle because for one, they're beautiful and not typical Christmas colors, but even more so because they were made by two girls I love. They both have been my son's nanny and are basically a part of our family. It's so special to include them in our gift wrapping and giving. I'm excited to wrap gifts with Sullivan this year. For the first time, he's old enough to help me and we can do it together by the fire.
What is your favorite holiday song?
My favorite holiday song is Silent Night, but I also like Feliz Navidad for fun!
